Indian River Woods is a community along the Indian River Road corridor which was once a privately owned farm with horses and cattle. Other neighborhoods nearby include Dewberry Farms and Hillcrest Farms. It's common to find streetnames like....Belmont Stakes Drive, Unbridled Lane, Kentucky Derby Drive and Winners Circle. Indian River Woods is centrally located to the Stumpy Lake Golf Course, Sandbridge Beach and Kempsville Recreation Center.

Many homes in this area have all or partial brick exteriors.
The price range for 2006 has gone from the 370's to the high
500's.
